Artistic Director, the renowned international tenor Jon Grave, runs the company with a view to bringing the finest art to the area.
Formed in 2011, WSO's first performance was an acclaimed production of Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia. This will be followed by a Christmas production of Humperdink's Wagnerian take on the classic fairy tale Hansel & Gretel. A stellar cast performs under the baton of Jon Grave.
WSO is a non profit organisation and has strong links with the University of Chichester, running side-by-side schemes which allow the students to have opportunities alongside the professional orchestra, in the chorus or backstage.
